-K.C. Lovejoy was selected to be inducted into the NAE4-HA National 4-H Hall of Fame at the National 4-H Center on April 5, 2003.

-The Foundation's 2002 Annual Report is online.

- The Foundation named a scholarship in honor of 4-Her Azure Dillon, who passed away in December 2002.

-The Foundation's 2001 Annual Report was made available online. 

-Maine 4-H was the focus of the November 2002 WLBZ Bangor Channel 2 and QCSH Portland Channel 6 Many Hands Series.

-The Oxford Hills Respect Team inspired Governor Angus King to proclaim May 13-17, 2002, as Respect Week.

- State Centennial Conversations were held in Bangor and Portland on January 21, 2002.

- Brenda Zollitsch, Director of the Foundation, and Polly Meloy, Development Professional, are featured in the February 2002 issue of Maine IS Technology, a newsletter highlighting the information services technology of the Maine State Government. Their article is "4-H Offers New Access through the Web."
