All satellite images are from 1999 Landsat TM scenes displayed with the layers ordered: Band 4 (Near Infrared), Band 5 (Mid-Infrared), Band 3 (Red), and are draped over a digital elevation model. In the images, the Orange/Yellow indicates areas of hardwood dominated forest. Dark Brown indicates areas of softwood dominated forest, and Cyan indicates areas of low biomass (i.e., exposed rock, urban, etc.). In the images of Cadillac Mtn. there are several clouds (white with black shadows).
