Setup of Equipment on Sled

EGT Setup

  1. Remove EGT bung cover carefully using ½” wrench so not to drop the ball bearing it secures.

  1. Remove the ball bearing and insert compression fitting into bung cover. (may already be attached to probe)
  2. Slide bung cover with compression fitting inserted onto the EGT probe. (may already be attached to probe)

  1. Lower the EGT probe into the opening on the manifold and finger tighten the bung cover.

  1. Adjust the probe so that the end of the probe is approximately in the center of the manifold pipe diameter.
  2. Tighten the bung cover snugly so that the probe is secure but also being cautious not to over tighten the cover.

Oil Temperature Sensor Setup

  1. Remove oil dipstick from snowmobile motor.

  1. Carefully slide oil dipstick with temperature sensor attached all the way down.

Note: When almost in place dipstick may be hard to lower, turn dipstick while applying slight pressure and it will lower into place.
