The Human Powered Submarine project is now in its fourth year of development.  Our ultimate goal this year is to bring the submarine to a race-ready condition and compete in the International Submarine Race this summer.
Previous design teams accomplished the hull fabrication, propulsion selection and installation, and an ergonomics study.
This year's design team has two primary goals:
1)        Design and install an autopilot that will keep the sub at the best angle of attack throughout the race.
2)        Finish the installation of all components to bring the vessel to a race-ready condition.
