| Jesse
was home schooled until high school when he entered Waterville
Senior High. He graduated in 4 years then spent one year at St.
Lawrence University before transferring to the University of Maine at Orono. He enjoys athletics and
participates actively on the University rugby club team. In his
spare time he likes to read, climb and play guitar. He plans on
entering employment in California following his graduation. |

Lucretia
Yentes
Résumé |
Before attending the University of Maine,
Lucretia Yentes worked as a certified welder. She has worked on many
commercial projects including welding the structural steel during
the construction of the new GE building in Bangor and the bridge
pilings for the new Verona bridge. She has her unlimited structural
certification through the American Welding Society. After 3 years of
college, Lucretia will be graduating with a BS in Mechanical
Engineering. She is interested in entering the work force after
graduation doing work in the energy field, with a focus in
sustainable energy. Along with her passion for math, she is invested
in her violin playing, knitting projects, gardening, cooking, and
family. |

Oai Ha
Résumé |
Oai is currently a senior at the University of
Maine majoring in Mechanical Engineering. He was born in Vietnam
and came to the United States at the age of 6, eventually settling
in Auburn, Maine. Oai’s work experiences include being a marine
designer for Gibbs & Cox on the Aegis class destroyers and an
NDT tech. When not occupied with school work,
Oai enjoys playing the guitar and doing various outdoor activities
including: golf, tennis, basketball, hunting, hiking, and
snowboarding. |

Luis Estevez

Lou
came to the state of Maine from New York where he managed his family’s Spanish
restaurant. Lou arrived to the University of Maine to pursue his dream of becoming a Mechanical Engineer while
enjoying Maine’s rustic charms. Lou is fortunate to have
a wonderful family and incredible friends, and enjoys spending time
with them. When he has free time, Lou loves playing guitar, reading
and being a member of the Maine Rugby Football Club. His recent
summer spent working at Los Alamos National Laboratories has
inspired Lou to pursue graduate school in order to realize his full
potential. |
