This year's team was certified through a combination of MMA and an online diving course.  The training equipment needed was provided by MMA.  The team is in charge of providing the wet suits needed for the open water dive.  This year's team got them from Down East Dive Shop in Dedham.  The confined water class is broken into three sections.  Then the open water dive can be completed in one weekend with four ocean dives.
