The Heat
Recovery Project began as an effort to evaluate current heating and
Milestones cooling
practices and determine whether a more efficient system could be used.
It
Reports was
determined that a direct
expansion heat recovery system would
require less
energy to meet OSHA requirements.
The
2007-2008 Advanced Heat Recovery Project wasn't able to complete the
project by
the end
of their semester. This years goals are to finish the direct expansion
and condenser coil
designs
as well as those for the receiving tank. We also are in the process of
obtaining a Turbocor
compressor and finishing all pipe diagrams and system layouts. We hope
to order parts soon and
begin
installation.
