Welcome to the University of Maine's Department of Mechanical Engineering Food-o-Thermal Refrigeration System design project web page. The goal of this design project is to remodel, rebuild, and repackage a refrigeration system similar to one that advisor Jim LaBrecque has installed in a market in Farmington, ME. This system will be packaged as a fully-enclosed, aesthetically-pleasing unit so that it will not have to be hidden in the basement or attic. State-of-the-art technology will be used to provide optimal controls. |
