Nathan Hayes is from southern Maine, and works primarily on computer interfacing with hardware.  He became interested in the project through research into FE analysis of the human head, and hopes to continue that research here.  He plans on attending graduate school at the University of Maine. Jonathan went to high school on Mount Desert Island and his practical experience has been related to manufacturing. After working on campus at the Advanced Manufacturing Center, he currently works as a co-op for GE Energy in Bangor. He plans on attending graduate school next fall, hopefully emphasizing on manufacturing. His hobbies include rock climbing, hiking, and skiing. Lauren Nichols is a senior at the University of Maine and will graduate in May 2011 with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. She is from Hermon, Maine and enjoys playing intramural sports on campus. For more information about Lauren, please view her online resume.

Joel is from Veazie, ME and graduated from Bangor High School in 2007. He is working on the design of the test apparatus and plans on attending graduate school next fall. He is treasurer of ASME, Tau Beta Pi, a member of Pi Tau Sigma, and currently works at the AEWC Advanced Structures and Composites Center during the semester.
