Background:This project was proposed by a group of interested students based on a summer internship. Applied Thermal Sciences in southern Maine is a technology oriented company that has been heavily involved in combustion and other engine technology for the Department of Defense and other customers. This work will focus on the development of a 2-stage rocket with hybrid boosters

Deliverables 1. Basic schematic of the design along with analysis of the propulsion and stability 2. Demonstration of the ability to safely and legally fly a level 3 rocket 3.
