What is OSNA?
The Orono Student Nurses' Association (OSNA) is a pre-professional organization for students in the nursing major at the University of Maine. OSNA serves different purposes which benefit nursing students and their surrounding communities. OSNA membership is open to all UMaine nursing students who are willing to set aside some time to attend OSNA meetings, be active in an OSNA committee, and participate in some of the many OSNA activities. OSNA is a wonderful student organization that gives student nurses the opportunity to experience a nursing education outside of the confines of the classroom walls. There are also excellent opportunities to expand the student's education through attendance at the State- and National-level conventions.
