Interactions Between Increasing CO2 and Temperature in Terrestrial Ecosystems
April 27 - 30, 2003, Lake Tahoe, California

Objective:
To summarize current information of how elevated CO2 and elevated temperature interact to affect ecosystem properties and processes over a range of scales, to identify key uncertainties that must be addressed in new experimental and modeling efforts, and to develop a structure for effective communication between experiments and models.

Features:
Several essential features of the meeting agenda were:
* close integration of experimental and modeling perspectives
* development of the issue through increasing scales
* ample time for structured discussion
* free time in the afternoon for working groups or small group discussions
