Maine Coalition to End Domestic Violence
MCEDV is the only statewide organization whose primary goal is ending domestic abuse in Maine. Founded in 1977 by individuals working together to assist and advocate for battered women and their children, the Coalition Office and MCEDV Member Organizations now have approximately 150 paid staff and hundreds of trained volunteers.

Non-profit feminist health center provides basic gynecological care: Pap smears, annual exams, breast exams, STD/vaginitis, menopause/PMS consults, lesbian health care, pregnancy testing, ALL options discussed, abortion services.

Maine Women's Fund
In 1988, 20 women came together to create a permanent resource to fund initiatives that create positive and lasting change for Maine women and girls. Since then the Maine Women's Fund has distributed almost $800,000 to nearly 200 programs empowering thousands of Maine women and girls, created an endowment over $1.2 million, hosted a series of conferences and workshops addressing women's financial literacy needs, and honored dozens of exceptional women and girls at the annual Evening to Honor Maine Women and Girls.

Maine Women's Lobby
Membership organization which advocates for legislation benefiting women and families, full-time lobbyist during legislative session, publishes monthly report on legislation and legislative activities.

Peace and Justice Center of Eastern Maine
A center for peace, justice and environmental programs and activities in five counties of eastern Maine. Sponsors films and educational programs, provides meeting space for groups, has a resource library, hosts community-building events, and works in coalition with other groups on issues of mutual concern.

PICA (Peace through Interamerican Community Action)
Central America solidarity group working for economic, social, and environmental justice for all people of this hemisphere. Current programs: Bangor/Carasque, El Salvador Sister City Project, Clean Clothes Campaign, and youth Adelantado.
