Sustainability Initiative Kicks Off with Angus King

The Mitchell Center will host a kick-off event for Maine's Sustainability Solutions Initiative (SSI) on Thursday, September 24, 2009 at 1pm. Former Governor Angus King will be the keynote speaker.

The event will take place at Wells Conference Center on the University of Maine campus. King's talk is titled "Data-driven policy: the role of universities in creating a sustainable Maine".

This event is free and open to all. A reception will follow.
