Maine Aquatic Biodiversity Project - Comprehensive Report
In addition to a complete listing of aquatic plant and animal species, the comprehensive technical report provides information on habitat types and threats to Maine’s freshwater biodiversity. The general report includes an overview of Maine's various aquatic plant and animal species and offers recommendations for protecting this biodiversity. Both reports are available from the Maine Natural Areas Program Web site

Research publications are available from the research section of this web site.

Waterlines is the official newsletter of the Mitchell Center and is published three times a year. Recently, we introduced Waterlines...in brief, a monthly e-mail newssheet that supplements the main newsletter and provides timely information on seminars, publications, events and more.

Mitchell Center's digests and white papers provide information on specific water and environmental issues that affect Maine and its residents.
