A graduating high school student (regardless of number of college credits taken while in high school) or a high school graduate or GED recipient who has attempted fewer than 12 college credits after graduation and is applying to a four-year bachelor’s degree program.

  • Dec. 1: Early Action Deadline
  • March 1: Regular Admissions Suggested Application Deadline
  • June 1: Survey Engineering Technology applications complete after June 1 will be reviewed only on a space available basis

*Applications will be accepted after March 1 however, students are strongly encouraged to apply by this date

  • Nov. 1: Recommended application submission date
  • Nov. 15: Survey Engineering Technology applications complete after Nov. 15 will be reviewed only on a space available basis.
  • Jan. 1: Applications submitted after Jan. 1 will be reviewed on a space available basis

Applications are reviewed holistically. For completion, UMaine requires a high school transcript, letter of recommendation, essay or writing sample and transcripts from any completed college work. Detailed information about applying is available here.

A high school graduate or GED recipient who has enrolled as a full-time degree student or who has attempted 12 or more credits of college study and is applying to a four-year bachelor’s degree program.

  • March 1: Recommended application submission date
  • July 1: Applications submitted after July 1 will be reviewed on a space available basis

We recommend applications be submitted as soon as possible during the fall semester. Spring admission to nursing is on a space available basis.
