Anne Lucey (1981 B.A. Journalism, 1991 J.D.) is senior vice president for regulatory policy at CBS, Inc., one of the world’s leading television broadcasting and production companies. Anne is responsible for managing regulatory issues related to broadcasting. She was vice president of regulatory affairs at Viacom, Inc. from 1996 to 2005 and managed FCC compliance for their television and radio stations. Prior to Viacom, Anne was an attorney for the Video Services Division of the Mass Media Bureau, Federal Communications Commission (FCC) in Washington, DC. She is a member of the Stillwater Society and ‘M’ Club. Anne’s late husband, Alan R. Miller, was Chair of the Journalism Department and an advisor to the campus newspaper at UMaine from 1967 to 1991. Anne’s father, William S. Lucey, is a UMaine ’61 graduate.
