Following a career in academia, in 1997 Jim Page returned to his native Maine to join the James W. Sewall Company. Founded in 1880, Sewall provides nationwide consulting services in the areas of energy, infrastructure and natural resources. He has been CEO since 2001 when he led a management buyout of the organization. Dr. Page earned a BA from the University of Maine at Fort Kent, an M.Phil from the University of St. Andrews, Scotland, and his Ph.D. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. His late parents were UMaine graduates James H. Page ‘34, ‘80H and Margaret Sewall Page ‘36. His late sister, Belinda S. Page, was a UMaine ‘71 graduate. Dr. Page is an adjunct professor at UMaine. He is currently a member of the Board of Visitors and the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences Advisory Board. He formerly was a member of the UMaine Foundation Investment Committee, Spatial Info Science & Engineering Advisory Board, and the Target Technology Advisory Board. He is also a Board member of the Camden National Corporation.
