Business Lecture

Federal Work Merit is awarded based on need to eligible students enrolled in a degree program at least half-time which gives students the opportunity to earn spending money and/or living expenses while gaining valuable work experience. Job listings are available through the Office of Student Employment and Volunteer Programs. The Maine Business employs several students each semester through this program.

Work Merit funds are available to academically talented returning undergraduate students with sophomore or higher standing who wish to work on-campus in an academically challenging position that will enhance their academic experience. The award will be made for the academic year and the amount will depend on student and employer requests. Students must have a University of Maine Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.2 or higher to apply for Work Merit. Job listings are available through the Office of Student Employment and Volunteer Programs. The Maine Business employs several students each semester through this program. At times students who do not qualify for Work Student or Work Merit may be hired.

Limited numbers of Teaching Assistantships are available through the Graduate Office of the Maine Business School. Go to DPC 209 or call (207 581-1973) or contact us at MBA@maine.edu for information.
