Authorizing Financial Aid Payments & Refunds

After logging into the MaineStreet portal, (http:// mainestreet.maine.edu) click the Student Self-Service link to select it.

Click the Student Center link to access the MaineStreet Campus Solutions system.

Next, from the Campus Solutions menu, click on the Self Service link.

From the Self Service menu, click the Campus Finances link.

From the Campus Finances menu, click the Student Authorization link.

On the Authorize Financial Aid Payments and Student Refunds page, the UMS Institutions you are enrolled at will appear listed in the Business Unit column of the Account Information section.

If an institution allows for online authorization of financial aid payments and refunds, the Select button will display in the Select this Institution column for that institution.

Note: if an institution does not allow for online authorizations, the Not Available button will display.

7.

On the Student Authorization page, indicate the option you authorize by placing a check mark in the appropriate check box.

Click the Save button.
