Niclas Erhardt, PhD
Associate Professor in Management

Dr. Erhardt received his Ph.D. from the School of Management and Labor Relations at Rutgers University. He holds a BS degree from the School of Industrial and Labor Relations at Cornell University. He also holds two MS degrees in Industrial Relations from Iowa State University and Rutgers University.
Dr. Erhardt has a wide research interest including team-based knowledge work, workplace diversity, Strategic HRM and intra- and inter-firm collaboration. His work has been cited over 1100 times and published in journals including Journal of Management, Human Resource Management Review, Corporate Governance: An International Review, Management Learning, and Management Communication Quarterly. He is also serving on the Editorial Board of Small Group Research. He currently serves on the University Research Council and several athletic-related university boards and committees, including Athletic Advisory Board, Athletic Engagement Committee, and works as Faculty Liaison and mentor for the Men’s Ice Hockey team. In terms of industry experience, Dr. Erhardt has Human Resource Management expertise in the pharmaceutical industry and has worked and consulted for a number of companies, including Merck & Co. Novartis and Jackson Laboratory.
