Highlight on MBA 2001 Graduate Dedra DeLilli
I am currently working in New York City for Citigroup,
specifically working in the Citi Cards Division. I am a Vice President
Associate Program Manager in the Marketing Acquisitions group here at
Citi. I enjoy my work here immensely and have some great UMaine MBA
Professors to thank for preparing me for this challenging, but rewarding
career. To give you a high-level overview my objective is to attract
and acquire new, profitable customers to become Citi cardmembers through
direct marketing, specifically direct mail. A great deal of my time
is spent on developing marketing strategy in efforts to acquire customers
in a most cost-effective, targeted manner. It's really a continuous
learning curve here as we create, test, retest, and tweak our strategic
marketing initiatives everyday. I'm happy to report that I really love
my job and my company and hope to continue to grow and develop my career
here for years to come.
Please let me know if there is anything that I could do to help promote
the UMaine MBA Program and/or new graduates looking for some advice/job.
Thanks again,
Dedra M. DeLilli

School Exchange Students Share Experiences Here and Overseas
Some of the best insights concerning international
relations and the Maine Business School come from exchange students
visiting here or enrolled here and visiting overseas. Tomohiro Shimoyama
is an exchange student from Hirosaki University in Japan. He is impressed
at how classes are conducted and the amount of homework at MBS.
