Campus Activities and Student Engagement

Campus Activities Board

CAB logoWho are we? The Campus Activities Board (CAB) is the University of Maine's programming board, and is comprised of student volunteers.  CAB is funded and advised by the Office of Campus Activities and Student Engagement.

What do we do? CAB works with the University of Maine community to provide safe, fun and educational programming. Our goal is to remain current and provide the latest  entertainment options available to the college market.  We are active members of the National Association for Campus Activities and send a delegation annually to the NACA NE Regional Conference. CAB strives to serve the entire University of Maine community as well as to represent the University well to outside agencies and the public. Through co-sponsorship of many of our events, we continue to reach a major portion of the campus community.

Who can join CAB? Any student who is interested in planning activities and having a great time doing it is welcome to join CAB!  There are many things that you could do as a member - the options are all yours. We are open to your ideas!!

What is the commitment? CAB only asks of you that which you want to give. You are always the person in charge of how much time you are willing to share with CAB.  Students looking to fill a leadership role should inquire about the time commitment and position expectations before accepting the position.
