The climbing center features a 32' climbing tower and a 45' long x 12' high bouldering wall.

Program Descriptions Belay Seminars Members: Free Non Members: $5 Want to learn how to safely belay a friend or family member at the Maine Bound Climbing gym?  Then this is your program!  Our skilled staff will work with you for an in-depth, two hour instructional learning experience.  You will gain the knowledge needed to take our Belay Test so that you can climb on the tower at Maine Bound without needing staff to belay for you. Lead Seminar Members: $10 Non Members: $15 Looking to take your top-roping to the next level?  Come join us for a two hour skills workshop in which our instructional staff will teach you the basics of lead climbing. You will gain a basic understanding of lead climbing and the knowledge required to take Maine Bound's Lead Climbing test.  Upon successful completion of this test, you can lead climb the sport routes on our tower! Completion of a belay seminar or belay test is required. Prior climbimg experience highly recommended. Climbing Technique Members: $10 Non Members: $15 Are you enjoying using the Maine Bound climbing facilities but want to turn your climbing technique up a notch?  Join us for two hours of instruction from our climbing staff.  You will get tips for improving your current technique, or taking what you know to the next level.  Learn new movements, strategies, and routines to improve your climbing ability in the gym, and on the real rock! Family Climbing Lessons Members: $25 (first four people, $5 each additional person); Non Members: $40 (first four people, $5 each additional person); Do you and your family love to climb but have little to no experience?  Then sign up for an informative two hours with our friendly staff.  You will learn the intricacies of our facility, the different types of climbing we offer, and some basic climbing technique.  This is a great event for parents and children looking for a fun family activity! Dollar Night Join us every Thursday from 3pm-10pm and climb for as little as $1!!!  Bring your friends, bring your family and your kids!  This is a great opportunity to mingle with the climbing members of our local community and have a blast! Anyone who will be bouldering only, and those climbers who will not need Maine Bound staff to belay for them, pay $1!

Climbing Center Rentals:

You can rent the climbing wall for school groups, parties, and other group activities for all ages. Our rental programs are as follows:

Belay Orientation: This is for the group who is looking to get more out of their experience at the climbing center. Our climbing wall instructors will teach your group all they need to know about top rope climbing and belaying.

Birthday Party or Other Celebration: Let us manage the ropes while you and your group simply enjoy the climbing. We provide an adequate number of staff for your group. Cost. $12 per person with a minimum group price of $120 for two hours. Payment is due the day of your rental.

Cancellation Policy: A 25% cancellation fee will be assessed for any rental that is canceled with less than seven days notice.
