CAN 101 Field Trip to Ottawa, Ontario!

COST: $100 - which includes two nights double-occupancy at Les Suites, round-trip transportation, and entry fees for museums and historical sites. Students pay for meals and extras. NOTE: Canadian dollars can be bought at Bangor Savings Bank at the Park St. entrance to campus.

 


ITINERARY:

Thursday, October 23

8:00 am - Depart from Newman Center.
               (Departure is promptly at 8:00 am)
5:30 pm - Arrive at Les Suites, Ottawa

Evening - Free

Friday, October 24

8:15 am - Leave Les Suites


8:30 am - Tour of the Center Block : Library of Parliament, Senate, Parliament,
                                                                  Peace Tower, and Grounds

10:00 am - Orientation Tour of Ottawa

11:00 am - Visit of the National Gallery of Canada

12:00 pm - Depart for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs

12:15 pm - Lunch in the Pearson Building cafeteria

1:30 pm - Briefing U.S. / Canada Relations

2:45 pm - Depart for the National Museum of Civilization

3:00 pm - National Museum of Civilization, Hull (Québec)

5:00 pm - Return to the Les Suites

Evening - Free

Saturday, October 25

Morning - Free

12:00 pm - Depart for Orono

9:00 pm - Arrive in Orono
