Matthew Small holds a B.A. in communication from the University
of Maine and will earn an M.Ed. in counselor education in May 2007.
Along with his role as graduate assistant at the Career Center,
Matthew also serves as chapter counselor for Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity
and counseling intern at Asa Adams Elementary School in Orono. Before
returning to graduate school, Matthew served as director of marketing
and development for Off-Broadway's Abingdon Theatre Company and
coordinated the internship program for the Manhattan-based non-profit
arts organization. He also previously promoted for Maine State Music
Theatre, Ogunquit Playhouse and UMaine Public Affairs. He is a former
resident assistant and an alumnus of The Maine Steiners, the University
Singers, the Maine Masque and Windham Chamber Singers.
