NORTON NAMED TO BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Prof. Steve Norton, UMaine Department of Earth Sciences and Adjunct in the Climate Change Institute, has been appointed to the Board of Directors of the program “Metals in the Human Environment (MITHE)," a trans-Canadian network of researchers investigating the flow of trace metals through ecosystems, including humans. MITHE is a program within the Natural Science and Engineering Research Council (NSERC), the federal agency that directs research.
