Using Technologies in the Mathematics Classroom

Here you will find links to webpages that describe three different mathematics teacher-training workshops. The goal of the workshops was to help teachers learn how to use software technologies that can facilitate student learning of important mathematics concepts.

This website will start you on an exploration of mathematics software that can be used in the classroom, such as Microsoft Excel, Geometer's Sketchpad, and Logger Pro. These software offer valuable teaching and learning tools that can help students develop their understanding of mathematics topics while they investigate important concepts in algebra, geometry, precalculus, or calculus.

You will find a variety of useful resources, including examples of activities that you can use in your classroom.

We welcome hearing from you. If you would like to tell us about your experiences using these or other technology-based tools in your classroom, Contact Us and tell us what you've been doing!
