Press Release

The Tourism Education Summit is an opportunity for educators in the University of Maine System and the Maine Community College System to meet with tourism industry representatives to assess the alignment of tourism education program offerings with the needs of the tourism industry.  The outcome of the day's meetings will be a report summarizing the conversation with recommended collaboration strategies among the campuses and across the systems as well as potentially identifying targeted investments in additional programs that should enhance the tourism educational opportunities in Maine.
