*** Newly enrolled  new students: first year commuters and non-traditional students should register and attend  your college Summer Orientation session if at all possible.

Summer Orientation will include meeting with your academic college faculty and include class enrollment.

Get ahead of the lines, take care of last minutes tasks, and meet other new commuters

8:30 AM -9:00 AM     Commuter Lounge, 228 Memorial Union
Check in with bagels and coffee available

9:00 AM -9:30 AM   Bangor Room, Memorial Union
Welcome, Introductions, Divide into small groups of commuters:  Recent high school grads, Nontraditional students / Transfers, and Student veterans

9:45AM –11:00AM  Alternating sessions: Academic Tips and Money Matters

11:00AM – 11:45AM
Discussion groups with CLAWS (returning commuter students)
Separate session for parents and family members

11:45: AM -12:30 PM
Lunch with CLAWS and Team Maine. Lunch tickets provided for commuter –students.   Family & friends may purchase lunch in the Bears Den

12:30 PM -2:00 PM
Tour s and Final questions and Answers
Bring your class schedule and we’ll show you where your class meets.

2:00PM – 4:30PM   Time available to visit your College Office for academic info (best to call ahead and make an appointment) or visit Financial Aid, the Bookstore or the Bursars Office.
