CALL
581-SNOW
It's getting to be that time of year when inclement weather is a part of our daily routine!
Be sure to call 581-SNOW to find out if classes will be held, and don't forget to check your course syllabus for its cancellation policy!
A decision about whether to cancel or postpone daytime classes will be made by the president or his designee by 6 a.m. and will be announced on a recorded message at 581-SNOW.
A decision about evening classes will be announced the same way by 2 pm.
While a decision to cancel or postpone classes will be communicated to television and radio stations, members of the UMaine community are strongly encouraged to call 581-SNOW (1-800-581-SNOW outside the local area) when there is a question about whether classes will be held.
