Students With Children

CNTSP has compiled this list of services and resources for students with children:

Student Spouse / Partner / Dependent Activity Card
Pick up your free S / P / D Activity Card to get special rates when you bring your children/spouse/partner to sports events.

Child Care
Review the CNTSP list to get started finding a reliable child care provider.

Housing
Family housing provided by the university is located nearby, and CNTSP maintains a listing of available apartments in nearby towns.

Parents On Campus
A very active group of parents uses the Students With Children message board on FirstClass to keep in touch. Use this great resource for advice about local doctors, play areas, and neighborhoods.

Nontraditional Students Association
The Nontraditional Students Association is an organized student voice on campus for all non-traditional students, including students who are parents.
Parents' Room
Thanks to the efforts of a group of parents on campus, two rooms located in Hannibal Hamlin Hall have been made available for the use of parents and children. For moms who need to breastfeed or breast pump between classes, this space provides quiet, comfort, and privacy.
