Is there a rental charge for meeting space? Are there any other charges such as custodial, housekeeping, etc.?
The 2
008 Conference Services Administration Free (CSAF) for conference groups is $7.75/person/day. Rates for only meeting room usage begin @ $50.00/day. The CSAF covers the cost of all conference space (including break-out rooms, luncheons, dinners, and special evening sessions) and conference coordination services. There may be additional custodial service charges for after-hours events or programs. Other non-academic facilities may have separate rental/usage fees. Large groups often require fire and safety personnel coverage at an additional cost.

Are there any time limitations which would prevent early morning opening or late evening closings?
As a general rule, no. With adequate notification, custodial coverage can be arranged.

Air Conditioned?
Major lecture halls and auditoriums are air-conditioned. Classrooms in the Donald P. Corbett Business Building, Little Hall (1st floor), and the Woolley Room are also air conditioned. Because Maine summers are mild, usually air-conditioning is not necessary.
