The European Network on Conflict, Gender, and Violence facilitates interdisciplinary publications and research projects, and organizes annual conferences, oftentimes in collaboration with other networks or institutions.
The conferences are uniquely designed to encourage creative dialogue and shake up established ways of thinking. With an emphasis on cutting-edge work generated in diverse European contexts the conferences aim to make such work visible to an international audience, and to examine the added value to scholarship and practice of taking into account the geographic, cultural, and political contexts of the phenomena under scrutiny.
