I was born in rural Idaho, grew up in Central Oregon, and lived in the Portland, Oregon area since. I am looking forward to experiencing life in Maine. I have a great wife and three wonderful kids. I enjoy playing and watching sports (The Blazers, White Sox, and Seahawks are my favorites), traveling, hiking and camping, Scrabble, Crosswords, and spending time with friends and family.

What has been your most embarrassing moment?

In the district golf tournament in high school, I teed off on the first hole in front of a large group of people and swung so hard that I skimmed the top of the ball and it went two feet.

What is your favorite comfort food?

Teriyaki Chicken

If you could take a trip anywhere in the world, where would you go?

I would go to New Zealand. I have heard that it is beautiful, clean, and full of nice people.

"Things turn out best for those who make the best of the way things turn out."
