I am originally from the town of Orono, Maine. I love to play with my grandchildren, shop at yard sales, refinish furniture, spend time with my family, and spend time at the family camp. Working at the Counseling Center was my second job after high school graduation and I have stayed on for 32 years. I can't think of any other department on campus that would be a more rewarding place to work.

What has been your most embarrassing moment at work?

My most embarrassing moment was my first day on my first job after high school graduation, when I got off the bus, crossed the street and tripped on a crack in the sidewalk (in view of a whole slew of people going to work) and I went to work with torn nylons and bloodied knees and a dirty white dress.

What is your favorite comfort food?

Ovaltine and toast.

If you could take a trip anywhere in the world, where would you go?

Back to Hawaii and visit every island.
