A Message from the Vice President for Development

It is with excitement and optimism that I look forward to working with you and other UMaine supporters as Vice President for Development. Together, we will help guarantee access to higher education for Maine students, provide an outstanding faculty with the resources they need, and ensure first rate facilities and learning environments.

With Campaign Maine at full tilt, hardworking volunteers and fundraising partners have secured gifts and pledges totaling $90 million — or 60 percent of the minimum $150 million goal. Each contribution better enables UMaine to produce work-ready graduates, community leaders and innovators in teaching, business and industry.

During the coming months we plan to engage many who have a passion for and a belief in the University of Maine. With your help, a brighter future for our University and our state is within reach!
