I couldn’t let another day go by without emailing you our heartfelt thanks for executing such a tremendous event.

We can't begin to tell you all the positive comments that have been expressed to us, Bob, Barbara, Eric…but I can tell you there have been many!! It was just a great event.

I can't think of another catering company that could come close to the level of professionalism on the execution and the service. From the minute you walked into the house Bion and I didn't have to do a thing…before we knew it, you were all cleaned up and ready to go, including taking the trash with you. Unbelievable :)

You all are amazing and you all make the University look great! A job well done, especially considering the crowd you had to move through. You do it all so beautifully and effortlessly.

Bill, Paula, please express to your staff our appreciation and thanks for executing a perfect event.

I can only echo what Dorain has already expressed, but please let me add my thanks as well. Dorain and I saw Bob Strong at the Bangor Savings Bank Annual Meeting at the Civic Center tonight, and not only did he also compliment everyone on such a wonderful event last Thursday night, but also commented on the food! He asked if Black Bear Catering had catered the event to which we said yes, and he also complimented you on the excellent food and service. So congratulations from a very appreciative and supportive faculty and staff as well. We have already received thank you messages via email and notes via mail on the wonderful event.

The level of detail and the ambiance that you established for this event was "over the top."

You always excel in your events, and having been in your shoes, we know the extraordinary effort that you take to guarantee this level of excellence!

Thank you very much for everything you did to help make the University Club’s Spring Reception a success! The food was delicious, the presentation was lovely, and the service was excellent. Before we depart for our honeymoon, we want to thank you for all you did to make our rehearsal dinner and wedding day just perfect. Our friends and family at the dinner have not stopped raving about the service, delicious food and elegant presentation at the Buchanan House. The cocktail hour was stunning and those lobster tartlets (which Ben and I probably ate half of!) were out of this world. The beef was perfectly cooked and the lobster and shrimp tasted like they just came off the boat…so fresh and delicious. Sadly, in the midst of all the excitement I forgot to eat my pie but I hear it was divine.

The wedding day presentation under the tent was a huge hit and everyone appreciated a cool refreshment before and after the wedding. Your service truly has been top-notch and we want you all to know nothing went unnoticed. Thank you for all that extra time and detail you put into our weekend. It was simply awesome!!!

I wanted to take a moment of your time to let you know how greatly satisfied we were with the quality of service and food during our recent Faculty Technology Fair in the Wells Conference Center. Dawn Taylor did an exceptional job in helping us to make the right choices for the event and she was very accommodating to our needs. Paula Gerry and Genevieve Charest provided us with outstanding service in setting up the room: decoration, executive display of food and tasteful extra decorations on each table.

You should be very proud of the staff you hired and trained.

I presented a Workshop last week (July 24 to 26) at the Wells Center. I was the recipient of several forms of hospitality, and gracious treatment. Your catering services were part-and-parcel of my good time. I wish I could have met you personally to thank you for all your efforts.

I often present workshops but seldom amidst good and healthy food served by helpful and professional staff. All the workshop participants were really happy with the catering services. It was the Buzz! It made everyone happy, energized and satisfied. I appreciated it very, very much.
