The HOBO H8 Outdoor/Industrial data logger

This instrument has 4 channels which allow continuous monitoring of air and 3 soil horizon temperatures.  The air probe is elevated approximately 4 feet to keep the air sensor above snowpack.  Occasionally these instruments act as bear toys as seen by the holes in the instrument below.
