UMaine’s EAP Mission and Purpose

The mission of the Employee Assistance Program is to provide confidential services at no cost to employees, retirees and members of their household who are dealing with personal and work related problems, in order to enhance the quality of their lives, improve personal and organizational effectiveness, and create a healthier campus community.

Eligibility

All active and retired faculty and staff members employed by the University of Maine and their household family members are eligible to utilize the resources of the EAP.

Appointments

An appointment to meet with an EAP counselor may be arranged by calling the EAP office at 207.581.4014 or toll free 877.327.3315 Monday through Friday between 8:00 A.M. and 5:00 P.M.
