Promoting growth, learning and development for children and adolescents
in school
The John A. Lindlof Learning Center serves area schools and communities
by providing educational assessment, consultation, counseling,
demonstration and training services to children and families. The
majority of children are referred by their school counselors. Staffed by
College of Education and Human Development faculty, the Center offers a
modern, clinical setting for helping K-12 schools meet the learning and
developmental needs of students. The facility, located on the second
floor of Shibles Hall, offers appropriate space for consultation and
assessment, individual and group counseling, and children's play
therapy.
