Literacy Area Programs
[-Back to Resources-]

Kids ReadingLiteracy Area Programs provide research, professional development, teaching materials and intervention strategies to help schools and teachers meet the varying reading and writing needs and skills of PreK-12 students. The Programs coordinate Reading Recovery and the Maine Literacy Partnership training, and also includes the Maine Writing Project and the Adolescent Literacy Institute under its umbrella.

Visit the Center's Web site to learn more about its various programs and to access an on-line discussion of literacy.
