Michael T. Fournier is a writer, critic and historian.
His book on the Minutemen's 1984 album "Double Nickels On The Dime" was released as part of Continuum Press's '33 1/3' series in April of 2007. He co-wrote "Wah-Tut-Ca Scout Reservation," a history of the New Hampshire Boy Scout camp of the same name, as part of Arcadia Press's "Images of America" series. Fournier's writing has appeared in Chunklet, the Boston Phoenix, the Boston Globe and Pitchfork Media, and his fiction has been published by Barrelhouse and Rambunctious Review.
Fournier taught History of Punk Rock at Tufts University in Medford, MA from 2006-8, and Critic's Choice: Punk Rock and Underground Music at Emerson College in the summer of 2008. He has guest lectured at Northeastern University.
