Sarah Woehler graduated with a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Maine in 2004.  She is currently a master’s candidate in English at the University of Maine with a concentration in creative writing.  Her academic interests include literacy, creative and professional writing, and the interrelationships between literature and other art forms.

Sarah has contributed to the literary blog, Bookslut; PortCityLife Magazine; the Morning Sentinel and the Kennebec Journal; the Maine Review and Local Voices; and served as Editor for the novel-length memoir, Interned in Sumatra.  She is a Board of Trustees Member for the Waterville Public Library.
