• Investigate or informally resolve
complaints of discrimination and discriminatory harassment, including
sexual harassment.
• Develop and promote activities and
programs on campus to educate students, faculty, and staff on
nondiscrimination policies and diversity.
• Coordinate campus compliance with
Title IX and the Americans with Disabilities Act.
• Prepare the annual Affirmative Action
Plan; monitor compliance and progress toward goals through oversight of
search policies and procedures.
• Manage all pre-litigation civil
rights cases filed against the University with state and federal
enforcement agencies.
• Advise campus administrators on the
implications of University policies, programs, and procedures for the
fair treatment of individuals and protected groups.
