Assistant Professor Clinical Psychology

 

The Department of Psychology at the University of Maine invites applications for a tenure track position in clinical psychology at the rank of Assistant Professor. The expected start date is September 1, 2008. Applicants should show evidence of outstanding research and teaching potential, and show promise of being able to secure external funding. As a core faculty member in a well established APA-approved clinical program, the successful applicant should have a strong background in an empirical, science-based approach to clinical work. Applicants should be license-eligible in the state of Maine and have the Ph.D. degree by the time of appointment. Preference will be given to applicants with research interests in the area of adult psychopathology. Each applicant should send: a letter describing current research and teaching interests; a curriculum vitae; copies of recent published articles; and contact information for three individuals from whom we may request letters of recommendation.
