UMaine has an Engineers Without Borders class coming up next semester, Spring 2015! The class is called GEE 250 – Sustainable Solutions in the Developing World, and is taught by EWB faculty adviser Jean MacRae. It fulfills two HVSC requirements: Cultural Development & International Perspective, and Population & Environment. The class is scheduled for Monday/Wednesday from 5:15 pm – 6:30 pm in Barrows Hall, Room 119.
It’s only offered spring semesters every other year, so depending on your class year this might be the last chance you get to take it!
EWB UMaine will be participating the 2014 Culturefest on November 8th. We will be making some traditional Ecuadorian food, recipes that we collected during our assessment trip to Ecuador this past August 2014. Please see our calendar (link to the right) for more information.
