- Course: GEE 398 Sustainable engineering solutions in the developing world (Spring 08)
Promote sustainability in the UMaine Engineering curriculum by piloting a class.
 
Course objectives:
    Create an environment where UM Engineering students can foster an understanding of the impact that appropriate engineering solutions can have in the developing world, explore the meaning of sustainability, and discuss how these principles relate to life in the UM community.
 
- Collaborate with local groups and individuals interested in the sustainable movement
