INT 256: Tree Pests and Disease:
Identification of Disease Complexes

Documents

Please go to the documents page to get copies of this year's course material.

Identification of Disease Complexes

This web site contains material for INT 256 - Tree Pests and Disease. It is only an aid to help review material covered in lectures and laboratories. To review basic terminology and concepts used in this course, please see the introduction to key concepts. The disease complexes are organized in groups such as foliar diseases. I'm only including disease complexes for which I have pictures or have the permission to use another person's pictures. Therefore, the number of disease complexes is limited but should increase with time. Each disease complex has a single page containing pictures of disease symptoms and pathogen signs along with descriptive information.

Groupings of Disease Complexes

The following list contains all the groupings for the disease complexes. Click on a group name to see a listing of available disease complex pages. To view a disease complex page, click on its name.

Quiz Practice

The quiz format begins by clicking on a quiz button under each disease complex grouping below. A web page of a disease complex will load, but the text is covered with blue boxes.  To view the text, move your mouse cursor to the blue box.  After you are finished with the first page of the quiz, then click the quiz button on the bottom of the page to go to the next disease complex.  There are 3 quiz buttons: Quiz 1, Quiz 2, Quiz 3.  If you begin with clicking the Quiz 1 button, then continue to use the Quiz 1 button at the bottom of all the pages.  Using the Quiz 2 and 3 buttons will simply load the disease complex pages in different orders.
