and storytelling as universals in human culture including
definitions and distinctions (myths, legends, history, story, truth,
fiction), uses and functions, performance and creativity.
Illustrative material drawn from a variety of cultures, including
Native American groups. Prerequisite: ANT221 or permission of
instructor.
